What are some of the characteristics of ice cream that makes it irresistible? The young ones and the old ones alike, are so inclined into having a rich an creamy serving of ice cream anytime of the day most especially during summer under the scorching heat of the sun. Creamy, sweet, rich and a variety of flavors keep ice cream so interesting. Since Peru is very rich in exotic fruits, it won’t come as a surprise that they are able to create one-of-a-kind ice cream flavors. Lucuma and cherimoya are just some of the crowd-pleasers. If you’re up for some challenge, how about a hot jalapeno flavored ice cream?

2008 Clos Julien Cabernet Sauvignon Lake County
This was the idea. In the last years, the cream of Napa has worked its way up above Clear Lake, high in the Red Hills on the other side of the Mayacamas. The vineyards were planted by the likes of Andy Beckstoffer — of To-Kalon fame — magnificent steep plantings, taking full advantage of the elongated growing season and fine natural acidity at 3,000 feet above Clear Lake.
On one hand, these vines offered the promise of more sensibly priced Cabernet Sauvignon — providing for wild cherry ripeness and fine structure. But on the other, many began playing with blends of Lake County and Napa Valley Cabernets, often coming out with luscious, structured blends that sometimes outshined each component individually.
The math is compelling. Lake County Cabernet sells for $2,000/ton and generally ends up in $20 bottles. Howell Mountain Cabernet goes for 3-4 times that much. Just 10% Howell in the Lake County blend and the Cabernet – as it did here — puts on weight and pops.
What’s our best guess at the composition of the Clos Julien Lake County? Well, the legal limit, if one is to carry the Lake County appellation, is 75% Lake County fruit. But take one look at the wine, then taste the fabulous silken depth at the core, and you just have to wonder if there wasn’t a very expensive goof at the blending table. This one is as much Howell as it is Lake.

The Galaxy 50 is one of our best selling scooters. The Galaxy 50 is also known as the B09. You will most certainly be one of a kind while out on this scooter. Green Earth Scooters doesn’t have to pick and choose from the factory to hopefully try and find the best models. Green Earth Scooters IS the factory. The 50cc scooters are the most efficient of our scooters for getting around. They are great for students going to school or an employee commuting to work. They get around traffic incredibly well and fit into tiny spots, so finding parking is a snap. Its 12 inch tires are bigger than other 50cc models. The larger tires mean that your ride will be smoother for long trips or on rough roads. The Galaxy 50 is definitely more cost effective than a car. A new car will be over $10,000 while even the most costly 50cc scooter will set you back less than $1000. Plus you need to think about gas, how many cars do you know that can get over 90 miles per gallon? The Galaxy 50 can. So this makes it great for your wallet and for the environment.

Kia Motors wanted to do something that had the ‘wow’ factor – something that would put South Africa and the Kia brand on the world map during the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ tournament. According to the verdict from Guinness World Record officials, Kia Motors South Africa and Emperors Palace Hotel Casino Convention and Entertainment Resort in Johannesburg have created the world’s biggest football.
“Being involved in the 2010 FIFA World Cup has been exciting for Kia Motors South Africa,” said Ray Levin, CEO of Kia Motors South Africa.
“Our ‘biggest ball’ world record is yet another exciting initiative; and to get our name in the Guinness World Records is something that Kia
Motors is extremely proud of.” To create a giant football is easier said than done. The replica is almost 70 times the size and 1,500 times
heavier than the Jabulani ball used in the 2010 tournament but, despite its girth, moves and looks like an Adidas Telstar ball. The ball weighs 650kg and takes two full hours to inflate. It required two and a half weeks and some fifty people to manufacture the ball, which conforms to the design specifications of the Telstar ball of the 1970 FIFA World Cup™. To enter the Guinness World Records the ball needed to conform to certain specifications: it must be inflatable and deflatable, be able to roll and be kicked, and must be an exact replica of an official FIFA match ball. In other words, it has to do all the things that a regular football can do. “Fortunately, Guinness gave some leniency – we did not have to manufacture the ball out of
shoe laces and leather panels but were allowed to use PVC instead,” said Stefan Vermaak of Innernation SA, the specialist marketing
company commissioned to run the Kia big ball project. “Yet, we’ve set a standard that no one will be able to beat in a hurry, and I don’t see it
happening in the next five years. I think we exploited the limits – at least until a stronger PVC is developed.” The future of the Kia and Emperors Palace ball, now that the football tournament is over, is still
being considered. In the meantime, Kia Motors invites the public to view the ball and take pictures at Emperors Palace to celebrate the
first FIFA World Cup™ on African soil and the biggest ball of them all. Read other articles about KIA on the KIA Motors Menlyn website

A Trunki is a children’s suitcase designed for 3-6 year olds. They come in a range of different designs and the one we have looked at is the trunki trixie. This pink suitcase will double up as a ride-on. Each different trunki has a different name and the pink is called Trixie. Of course giving the suitcases a name gives them an identity to a child and is much more fun.
The Trunki isn’t very big and can be used as hand luggage, so a child can pack all her essential toys in the trunki and have them available for in-flight entertainment.
Trixie has wheels and 2 ‘horns’ on the front which the child can hold on to whilst they ride. Also the trunki has a handle for adults to pick the case up and a thick strap that can be used on an adults shoulder and to pull the case along.
The Trunki is also useful for resting tired legs in as a child can comfortably sit on it. Take at look at trunki trixie prices and see what value you can get.

It’s been doing well for itself over the last 15 years or so; and now, Google owns it – the Internet giant paid about three-quarters of a billion dollars for it. So what does Google want with it? Well, think about it – Google does search, finding the lowest air fare involve search, it sounds like a pretty well-thought out match.

A South African phenomenon is helping the used car industry namely crime. Many sellers who would prefer to sell their car through private channels are making the decision to hand it over to reputable used car dealers who have the security and knowledge to recognise scam buyers. This will become a huge channel through which the used car networks can source their stock, which in other countries couldn’t be open to them. The Rand has also played a part in keeping used car sales buoyant. The incredible retail cost of new vehicles available in South Africa in relation to our income is out of balance and will also influence the market. The used car industry will profit from this perception well into the future until a stronger economic outlook and strengthened rand will bring new car prices down. Recent increases in the fuel price have also prompted some customers to down size from ‘gas guzzlers’ and the overall global trend is towards smaller cars. Anticipation of the new CO2 tax later in the year also suggests that the prices on new vehicles will have to increase and the results will further strengthen the used car market. Read the full article on the KIA Menlyn website.

Glancing through the pages of a popular magazine, I found a quote that really made me pause and ponder, “Our vices are what inspire us….”. I agree. When you are looking for a specific thing, no matter how you try to replace it with something of its resemblance, it just doesn’t seem right. I’ve tried tasting the other versions of Pisco sour yet, you can never find the perfect Pisco sour anywhere else but in Peru. The taste is just fixating, and it pairs perfectly with traditional dishes of Peruvian cuisine like Lomo saltado. I can really tell if it’s the Peruvian version or another. In Ica you’ll get to savor authentic Pisco, the key element in making Pisco sour. They also have a La Vendimia Wine Festival every 2nd week of March, to celebrate the abundance of grapes and wine in that region.

Barcelona: The gaudy crystal in the Spanish architectural-crown; a bustling Catalonian town thrumming to Flamenco, tapas and tide; a lovely shore resort, hemmed-in beside the rocky Serra de Collserola edge.
As a holiday getaway, The catalonian capital is all roles to all men – given that roughly every probable attraction for the filled range of travelers and tourists. Traditionally, Barcelona dates back to the 3rd century BC, furthermore proof of the city’s early Roman roots can be seen in the ruins beneath the Plaça del Rei. But, architecturally talking, the dominant strength in the capital is undoubtedly the architecture of Antoni Gaudi; the great modernist architect of highly unusual buildings that bubble rise out of the cityscape like molten lava. His impressive, unfinished work of art, The Sagrada Família – a massive Roman Catholic church – is even now under construction at the moment, having been begun in 1882.
On additional artistic fronts, The catalonian capital offers incredible array of opportunities to indulge the sense: in one of the various fine art and antiquarian museums; in the Gran Teatre del Liceu opera house; the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya; the Picasso museum, or the Fundacio Joan Miro, to name a few.
Once your cultural taste has been quenched, you may fancy to try few of the tasteful restaurants and bars Barcelona has to offer. Tapas and local specialities of stewed sausage and white beans, red peppers and aubergine, and cod with onions will go to the spot entirely – washed down with a pitcher of arctic Sangria. Or you could drink that on one of Barcelona’s four kilometres of seaside, or in one of the 68 public parks…
Barcelona is one of the important lights of modern, sophisticated Europe, an extraordinary and wide-ranging capital with a vibrant civilization, an amazing heritage and a wonderful panorama. Viva Espana, and viva Barcelona!

One of the most critical parts of your off road trailer will be the springs. In fact this is the part that will most often fail you when it comes to going off road. It’s smart to take a hard look at the springs prior to buying your off road trailer. Take care to be sure that you get leaf spring type trailers to give you the best effect. Be careful too that your springs are right for your trailer weight and what you will use it for. If they are too tight then the bouncing that you feel will be outrageous, while too soft a spring gives the trailer the ability to bottom out and cause problems. Echo4X4 give expert advice on the purchase of off road trailers.

These Barcelona attractions remain on the outskirts of the city but are worth a journey while you are touring Barcelona.
The largest aquarium in Europe, “L’Aquàrium” and “Universal’s Mediterranea”, an unique amusement park on the Impressionist style are the other Barcelona attractions of note.
For a football extremist, a trip to the “Barcelona FC”, base for the “La Liga” team is almost an obligation while on a trip to Barcelona.

I made a trip to England nine years ago to visit some friends up near the Lake District, and when I arrived at Gatwick Airport in London, I got a call saying that they would not be home until the next day. I told them that I certainly could do that, but then it hit me that since it was still morning, it would be a perfect day to tour London, with most of the day to do so. I told them about my plan, and they thought it was a great idea, so I said I would just stay in a hotel in London that night and take a coach up to their home the next day.
This is where all of the touristy stuff is, such as the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey and so forth, but I was a tourist, after all, and I wanted to make sure that I could tell people that I had seen all of those things when I got back from England. What I ended up learning pretty early on is that it would take much longer than a single day to tour London in its entirety, so I just decided to take in what I could and plan future trips to the city to discover more. I decided to start out by going to Westminster.
I spent the day seeing as much of the city as I could, and what struck me the most about it was how effectively the city seemed to weave the old and the new together. When I went to have lunch, I met up with another American who told me a little bit about the city.
When I got back to Victoria station, I asked about some local hotels and found a good one. As I rode to the hotel on the train, I thought about my day of sight-seeing and how much I had taken in, and it was kind of overwhelming.

Those that do not end up taking honeymoons when they are married often look back with regret. If you have the cash, you still want to get a good deal and make sure they are going to have a good time. Look around before you buy. Some companies take honeymoons very seriously, but others just want to expand their bottom line. They are not concerned with return or satisfied customers, so they only have to trick you once.
Some honeymoon vacation packages are better than others. Sometimes, you can be downright deceived when it comes to what you think you are getting and the reality of the trip. Some have found great deals only to discover that paying a little more for something else would have made the difference between a great honeymoon and a laughable memory. Before you buy, look around for reviews and real pictures of resorts, hotels, and other honeymoon spots. The price of the honeymoon vacation packages you find could be great deals, but you really want to be sure. Look off of the web site for the destination for real reviews by real people.
If the honeymoon vacation packages that you find are for well-known resorts and hotels, you may not have to worry about the condition of the property. However, if you are looking for something, and find a like-resort nearby at a much cheaper price, you may want to investigate before you decide to go with the cheaper and lesser known option.
Sometimes, these other options are run down, out dated, and barely operating. You don’t want your new couple faced with a nightmare instead of the dream honeymoon you were hoping to give them.

Finally, I spent a wonderful vacation in Italy last 2009. My wife and I flew into Rome and spent three days touring the city. I went and saw all of the touristy stuff, like the Coliseum and the Vatican.
We saw some of the old churches in the city, like the Basilica of St. John Lateran, but probably the thing I most remember from that portion of my vacation in Italy were all of the piazzas and how relaxing it was just to sit there and watch the people come and go.
Then from Rome, we went up to see Florence, which is easily one of my favorite cities in the world.
From Florence, our vacation in Italy took us to the very unique city of Venice. I loved being able to ride on a gondola and take in the sights, and my wife loved the fashionable clothing the city has to offer. I have heard that the city is actually sinking, and I am glad that I had the opportunity to see it, just in case it is completely underwater in the future.
Our vacation in Italy is something that I will never forget for as long as I live and something I will always look back on with great fondness. It was one of those rare occasions in life where you really look forward to something for a long time, and when you finally get to do it, it turns out better than you ever imagined possible.
