Toys For Your Kids Tips And Advice

Friday, September 12th, 2008

As a Parent, I am not always sure what toy is suitable for my kid.
For children, learning through play ensures that fundamental cognitive abilities take effect. Newborn babies have the traditional infant toys like mobiles, rattles, and stuffed animals. Toddlers have slightly more fancy toys that have logical reasoning. Kindergarten-age kid toys aim to nurture imagination and creativity in the kid.
As the child is growing up, he will pass through all of these developmental stages, so you better have age suitable kid toys on hand that will grow with him.

Which Christmas Tree To Choose?

Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008

The Christmas tree is one of the most identifiable symbols of the holiday season.
Should I buy a real evergreen or an artificial Christmas tree?
A lot of individuals prefer to use artificial trees to decorate their homes. The false Christmas tree is the ideal choice for someone who is well organized during the off season. You can decorate your home for Christmas very fast when you have everything you require in stock.
The live evergreen holiday decoration is ideal for the traditionalist and it is also a great thing to think about if you live in a small place. A real Christmas tree is also a very good choice if you are strict on tradition and if you like the fragrance that it brings into your home.
Hopefully, a little reflection and some browsing around on the Web might help you choose. If you would prefer information in French about Christmas/Noel, go visit sitedenoel.com

Webkinz Whimsy Dragon - Why Are Webkinz So Hard To Find

Thursday, July 24th, 2008

They are typically only sold in gift shops and even then it is not uncommon to find the shelves empty. Kids not only love to play with their new stuffed pets, but they love to take care of their adopted pets as well. Once your kids get one, you will find them begging for more. All of the beanie baby collectors have begun adding Webkinz to their collections. There are so many animals to choose from but the one you want might not be available. They are the most popular toys on the market right now. Just released in May was the Webkinz Whimsy Dragon, which is about impossible to find in the stores.

When you purchase a new webkinz you get a code with it that gives you one year access to the online website. Every month on Webkinz World there is a pet of the month that gets special items if that pet is adopted that month. This makes that particular animal in demand for the month. The cost of a webkinz is between eight to fifteen dollars each. Imagine being able to actually take care of your pet by feeding it and providing it with a home. You not only get a great toy, but you have the abililty to care for a virtual version of the pet online. These popular stuffed animals are not only great toys, but they also are virtual pets that can be taken care of online.

Chatty Cathy

Thursday, June 12th, 2008

Chatty Cathy was a doll produced and manufactured by the Mattel Corporation in 1959, and first advertised on television in 1960. The doll spoke eleven phrases by pulling the string in the center of her upper back, which was very revolutionary for her time. Seven more random phrases were added in 1963, and she was the second most popular doll of the 1960’s after the Barbie doll also made by Mattel. Chatty Cathy was on the market for six years, the original doll of the Chatty craze that continued on with Chatty Baby, Tiny Chatty Baby, Tiny Chatty Brother, Charmin’ Chatty, and last but not least Singin’ Chatty. Chattys are well sought after by collectors around the world, and there are lots of resources full of information about the doll’s history, value, where to find one, etc. on various websites dedicated to Chatty Cathy.

Wiggles Toys assist Early Learning

Monday, May 19th, 2008

If you don’t know what you are doing, much like me, you should investigate the tools that are out there geared towards early learning. You can find shows like the Wiggles or perhaps Little Einstein to help them along their way. Children can learn from television, just make sure the early learning shows you allow them to watch are indeed helping them. You don’t want it to be purely entertainment, though there is nothing wrong with a little entertainment to go along with the learning.
