If your birthday falls in March, that makes you either a Pisces or an Aries, and your birthstone aquamarine. Aquamarine, like its name suggests, is blue or turquoise in color whose shade can look brilliant in large quantities and more subtle in small amounts. It is actually not a gemstone in itself, but a variant of beryl, a crystallized mineral that comes in various other colors like green, red, yellow and white due to impurities contained inside of it. Pure beryl without impurities has no color but this is relatively rare to find. You might be more familiar with green beryl as emerald, the birthstone of May.Aquamarine is a very versatile stone, and it makes for a wide selection of aquamarine rings with various cuts, sizes and styles.

An excellent resource out there for anybody who collects antique rhinestone bracelets are online stores and on line auctions, in particular eBay.
Here I will concentrate on the almost limitless selection on the largest of all the online auction houses, which is of course, eBay.
You will find thousands of listings for jewelry and it is an extremely lucrative product both for those who sell and for those who want to buy. The prices can be surprisingly low as some sellers start their particular auctions at under $1.00, if you happen to be fortunate enough to bid on these low starting price auctions, you can frequently be lucky enough to end up with a genuine bargain.
If you’re not familiar with purchasing on eBay, go to eBay.com and simply click on the help column on the right side, then “help topics” for excellent guidance and information.
You’ll be able to browse, the Internet version of window shopping, whenever the time suits you. If you’re searching for vintage jewellery, and you enter “vintage jewelry” in the search box, you are going to see that there are thousands of listings.
You are able to narrow the search down by entering the exact product you are interested in.
It is possible to narrow it down even further if you have in mind a specific designer, for example Sarah Coventry, Kramer or Trifari.
Scroll through the selections and see what exactly is available, and what the prices are. If you want to bid on or purchase a product, eBay will take you step-by-step through the procedure.
Do make the extra effort when you are putting in a bid on auction web sites, eBay tries very hard to help keep sellers honest. The process of purchasing on the internet is actually very much the same as purchasing in the shops, be sure you know Precisely what you will be bidding for,if you have in mind a particular product, read the vendor’s feedback score, and look at the feedback comments.
You can ask the seller a question about the item, and be sure to read the seller’s refund policy. A few do not accept returns in case you are unsatisfied with the item, but most do.
Because you are buying a piece of rhinestone jewelry without personally examining it, you need to be sure you are getting exactly what you want.
Read up about the jewelry you are considering buying, there are PLENTY of good antique jewelry reference books available. Read rhinestone jewellery guides, Internet articles, and lastly, check back again on this site for more information on antique rhinestone jewelry and retro rhinestone pins and brooches.

Ask anyone who’s engaged to be married what the ultimate symbol of your love would be. I’d bet that your wedding ring is the number one answer. After all, when you say your vows, it’s the mutual presentation of the wedding ring that binds you together from that day forward, sealed with a kiss. ‘Til death do you part’, you’ll be wearing that ring every day of your life. So when you choose your wedding rings, you want them to be special. A custom jewelry design is thus the perfect answer. You’ll be assured that no one else has a ring quite like yours, symbolizing the uniqueness of your love, as no other ring can do.
Where to find
So, how do you find these artists? It’s easy. Do a Google image search on ‘custom jewelry design’. Scroll through the results until you find a designer whose style matches yours. Check out some of these websites and see what they have to offer. Make contact with a few that look promising. Let them know what you’re looking for in terms of style, materials and price. Ask if you can send them a basic sketch of your perfect design, with a request for their suggestions on how you might best achieve the perfect custom jewelry design for your wedding rings.
It won’t be long before your inbox is filled with eager designer’s responses. With a good custom engagement ring, your proposal day will be just perfect.

Tracking down the top 10 most expensive wedding dresses in the world is no small task. Discretion is usually not what the bride is looking for when sporting a dress that costs more than an average house. However, if the dress was not specifically designed to aim for the top spot, you probably won’t hear about it.
With few exceptions, the most expensive wedding dresses in the world are usually high-end, marketing stunts, not made for a real bride or wedding. That being said, you’ve got to wonder how it would feel to walk down the ile with one of these.
Top 3:
1. The Diamond Wedding Gown: $12 mill.
2. Yumi Katsura wedding dress: $8,5 mill.
3. Peacock Feather: $1.5 mill.

Indian jewelry has become a large commodity for many shops selling Native American art in the Southwest. Handmade beaded jewelry is especially popular in the small jewelry shops in this part of the country. Many of the Indian reservations have formed their own companies to regulate and sell the handcrafted jewelry made by the Indians on the reservations. This handcrafted jewelry normally comes with a certificate of authenticity with the artists name or initials on the piece of jewelry.

When it comes to buying wedding and engagement rings things can get very complicated. One of the best practices is to do your homework online and to go to your local diamond jewelry shop and talk with the salespeople there. That way you can learn as much as possible to make a good purchasing decision.
One option that you have is to design your own rings. In this situation you will visit an online shop that gives you choices for the diamond settings (pave, solitaire etc.), choices for your gemstone (diamonds of varying cuts including emerald, round, pear, baguette etc.) and choices for precious metals (white gold, yellow gold etc.).
For more information about buying customized wedding and engagement rings online please visit DesignYourOwnRings.org today.

In search of unique materials artisans have captured butterfly wings from the Amazon and set them in sterling silver to create gorgeous bracelets, pendants and earrings. Well, they haven’t actually captured them, as these wings are gathered from expired butterflies whose life spans are quite short. These silver designs allow them to live on and highlight just how difficult it would be to improve on the beauty of nature. The colors and the designs are inspired and the smartest artisans do very little to distract from those elements – a simple setting is all that is needed and the result is an eye-catching and unique jewelry design that makes a wonderful gift.

Wow! This is one of my favorite designs this season because of the combination of sexy black suede and shiny silver rings. The plushness of the cord makes for a deeply rich look while the abundance of silver rings gives the piece weight and heft. It will work in both winter and summer so it is the perfect example of a versatile gift idea. When silver is set against black like this even the simplest of designs is sophisticated. Who wouldn’t want that as a jewelry gift this Christmas?

Be sure that any diamonds or gemstones that appear in the item you are considering are also real, and bear in mind that the price will include the amount of gold in the piece, as well as the design, craftsmanship and of course the value of any gemstones.
Fortunately you can go to almost any jeweler and find a gold jewelry set. Zales, Blue Nile, American Diamonds Forever, Reeds Jewelers, Mondera, Mayor’s, Kay Jewelers – any one of these jewelers would be a fantastic option and perfect for you to check out for whatever jewelry set you may be looking for.

Last year was a fiasco for the retailers of this country. Hopes of a 4th quarter rebound were dashed by the shoppers who simply couldn’t bring themselves to splurge in the face of our economic woes. Happily, we’ve moved away from the fear and have simply settled on a search for value. Value is something that retailers are happy to provide – the question is whether the value they are offering is real or perceived. The savvy shopper knows how to tell the difference. Is it a value to purchase a piece of jewelry that is made of an alloy instead of sterling silver? How about choosing sterling silver over gold? The answers are no and yes. Choosing a gift of sterling silver is a luxurious choice and a value at the same time. If the design is unique as is usually the case with handcrafted jewelry and the craftsmanship is top-notch as is usually the case with artisan jewelry, the purchase meets all the criteria. A luxury gift at the holidays sets a whole new tone as we approach the coming year and that is a hopeful sign for everyone.

The great thing about silver is its versatility in incorporating different finishes, styles, engraving options and best of all; it has an affordable price tag. A silver men’s wedding ring is virtually a blank canvas – you could choose a satin or matte finish or opt for a buffed, shiny appearance. If you are proud of your cultural heritage, you could have special designs honoring that heritage etched or engraved into the band or even a special message.

I like to think of myself as being more immune to advertising than most other people. I rarely buy things just because I see the item featured in commercials or magazine ads, and product placements in movies tend to annoy me more than pique my interest. Nevertheless, I do occasionally succumb to temptation, particularly when it comes to something that I’ve wanted for a long time anyway. That’s why I started shopping for James Bond watches after recently seeing the latest 007 film. As you would imagine, the suave, sophisticated super-agent chooses timepieces that not only look good, but are highly functional and durable as well.

I have a new article for Coach handbags fanatics over at ezine articles. You can also view the article at my Coach bags website, where you can easily shop for hot fasshion at factory outlet prices, all from the comfort of your own home. Here is a little taster of the article I mentioned:
“Like all manufacturers, Coach make errors too. They have extremely high standards, and so much of what is produced in the factory gets rejected. These so-called rejects are still high quality – in many cases you can’t even notice the difference between the reject and the one in the official Coach showroom.
Even the tiniest blemish or mark – such as a scratch or a misplaced zipper – is enough to send a handbag to the outlet store instead of the official showroom. Your handbag will easily pass for one purchased from an official outlet.
Every season leaves behind overstock or products that did not sell out entirely. This overstock is often in top condition – this is where the wily bargain hunter steps in to grab their bag!”

If you would ask everyone you come across if they love jewelry, most would say yes. It comes in so many different styles and designs, there is something to suit everyone’s tastes, from the simple and elegant to the more elaborate and detailed. Some prefer a simple chain or a single stone set in gold or silver. Others like to wear something more sophisticated. The jewelry a person wears can tell so much about them.
Pendants are a wonderful way to add character to your accessories. Stones of all colors, shapes and sizes can be arranged in an endless variety of designs to be worn attached to a necklace or bracelet. These pendants, like all jewelry, can be very small, simple and cheap, such as those a child might be given for a birthday, all the way to the extremely expensive designer pendants that are worn only by the rich and famous.

Anxiety disorder affects many people on a daily basis. It can co-exist with other disorders as well, such as depression and many of the same antidepressant medications are used for anxiety treatments. The symptoms experienced by persons with anxiety or panic disorder can be different and occur with varying severity, which is why anxiety treatments must be individualized for each patient. Some of the most common symptoms that people with anxiety experience are heart palpitations, fast heart rate, numbness and tingling in arms and hands, shortness of breath, dizziness, disassociation with present surroundings, terror, and fear of impending doom.

Some musicians have been known to make unusual engagement rings out of musical instrument parts and so on. Sure, unusual engagement rings are nice and show that you but some thought into it, but if a girl is expecting the traditional diamond on a ring mount and you bust out an auto part fashioned into a ring then you may be in for the let down of your life.
Celebrities, of course, are a completely different kettle of fish. For example, Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson tattooed their wedding bands to their fingers. and God only knows what they used for an unusual engagement ring. Jessica Simpson received a unusual pear shaped engagement ring set in platinum with stones on the side. In fact, if you see a really unusual engagement ring that you both love, you might even consider having a replica of it made for your own engagement ring.

Engagement ring makers include metal alloys like silver, nickel and copper into their creation. By varying the proportions of the metal, they can precisely determine the exact shades of the ring color – from a light colored gold to a deeper rose hue as found in the rose gold engagement rings.
It’s that ratio of blended gold and copper – three parts gold and one part copper – which brings out the rosy hue that ladies seem to find romantic. The more copper that is added to the mix, the rosier the ring becomes. When paired with a stone such as the pink diamond, the effect can be stunning.
The unique color tone of the metal gives leeway to romantic designs like rose petal embossed into the bands of the ring which can give it a Shakespearean feel. Pink is the color of the heart and love, and many designers such as Claddagh have incorporated designs like heart emboss and heart etchings into the rings which are loved by the ladies.

Diamond engagement rings come in all shapes and sizes.  The price tag for each diamond engagement ring depends on the size, the shape and the color.  Most diamonds appear to be crystal clear, but diamonds do have colors.  There are black, blue and yellow diamonds, but these are not so common.  A jeweler can view the diamond carefully to determine the price as well.  The jeweler will take a special instrument and look closely at the diamond to see if there are any flaws that cannot be seen by the naked eye.  A flawless diamond flower engagement ring will cost more than one with some flaws.  Fortunately, most people cannot see the flaws in diamonds.

If you don’t have the ability to express in drawings or verbally exactly what you have in mind to the designer, then your chances of getting what you actually wanted are pretty slim. The most important thing is that when choosing a designer to help you, that you choose one who is really listening to you and what you want and not taking the opportunity to impose his or her own vision onto you.
Many jewelers out there recognize that some of their customers will want an engagement ring that’s a little our of the ordinary and not part of their regular stock. They may, in fact, have their own custom ring design software which they will use to work with you to design and create the perfect engagement ring for you.

There are so many different options that you can choose from when it comes to a wedding ring. You can pick a rose gold wedding ring, diamond gold wedding ring, gemstone gold wedding ring – and these are just three of the many different options.
However, out of all the different fashions and styles, one of the most popular of all is the yellow gold wedding ring. The yellow gold wedding ring is very traditional and especially perfect for a man.
Men usually do not like their rings to be overly flashy, and a yellow gold wedding ring is very casual and subtle, and so it is the perfect choice.

Unfortunately, I was not able to get any refund on my bag that I’d purchased from ebay as I had been using the handbag. A valuable lesson learned. Unless you really know what you’re looking for and are prepared to spend a small fortune in a reputable store downtown, chances are, you’ll be purchasing replica designer handbags instead of authentic one over online.

If we were to all require a seasonal shopping trip to stay abreast of fashion, we’d be broke in no time. Many women rely on costume jewelry to augment costumes of seasons past in such a way as to appear to be the essence of current fashionable dress. Trendy jewelry is a niche we should all exploit. In the world of fashion, trendy means the latest innovation, almost certainly a fad, but nonetheless something which places you in the land of the living instead of some sad has-been. The very definition of trendy jewelry conveys a couple of messages to the world at large.

Reaching the Golden Anniversary milestone is certainly an exciting time in a couple’s life. Being together in marriage for fifty years is worth quite a celebration. Most of the time, the couple’s family or friends give them a party to celebrate this wonderful landmark in their lives. Many couples ask for no gifts, but most people ignore the warning. If no such warning exists, the sky’s the limit as far as presents are concerned.
Even though this is the golden wedding anniversary, you do not have to give the couple gold. That would be rather pricy. The gift depends largely on your budget and the situation of the couple. Also, your relationship to the couple should be taken into account.

Throughout history, it has been used for pinning clothes together, storage of items such as coins, and to display status and wealth. Most cultures had a treasure-trove of wealth consisting of mainly of ornaments and precious gems. It also used to be customary for families to give dowries with the betrothal of their daughters, frequently including jewelry.
Jewelry During the Early Ages
Some of the earliest crafters of jewelry were the Cro-Magnons around 40,000 years ago. Jewelry fashioned from bone, teeth, stone, mammoth tusk, and sometimes mother-of-pearl were commonly found in the graves of the Cro-Magnons. Simple necklaces and bracelets were suspended on pieces of animal sinew or string. Carved bone was also used to hold clothing together. Copper was first used about 7,000 years ago.

Not everyone can afford real diamonds. Even some who can don’t want them. Many women are nervous when it comes to wearing the real thing and would prefer cubic zirconia. Others have ethical reasons why they choose cubic zirconia, while others like the sparkling look and affordable price. Cubic zirconia engagement rings come in many different styles and levels of quality, just like real diamonds. However there are some distinct differences. As previously mentioned cubic zirconia is much less expensive than diamonds. In addition it is flashier and offers more fire.

One of the most romantic things you can do is give someone a promise ring. Diamond promise rings are often given as a type of pre-engagement ring. At the least, they represent that the wearer of the ring is in a committed relationship. Often they are given prior to a formal engagement ring. For example, seniors in high school who know they want to get married but aren’t ready can show their intent with a promise ring. Even those with a small budget can afford a promise ring.

Earrings are a diverting strategy to spice up your wardrobe and lift your spirits. Earrings are finished with posts and screw backs for pierced ears. Each earring weighs roughly 1/8 carat, for a solid diamond weight of 1/4 carat. Earrings are arguably the most crucial pieces of jewellery, without which attire is not completed. They are not just accessories that put a full-stop to the ensemble apparel, but they also make a uncommon style statement, making the wearer stand out from the crowd. Earrings are essentially unused in two types – Pierced and clip on. Pierced earrings require the wearer to have his/her ear pierced and the clip on style comprises of a clip like attachment. If you’re thinking about making your own beaded lanyard, make sure you get some beaded lanyard patterns to oil the wheels of you getting started.
Diamond hoop earrings a unrepeatable format, pursued and appreciated for their sheer smartness. In this style type one may also host even just one diamond solitaire, snugly fitted into its metal niche. Diamond clarity has to do with the number of inclusions, diamonds with less inclusions are more expensive. The diamond weight is measured in carats. Diamonds and retailing for thousands of dollars. Diamonds are forever associated with engagement and marriage in our culture. It’s tiring to find anyone wearing an engagement ring without a diamond nowadays. Diamonds and other gemstones are best reserved for evening wear or formal occasions such as weddings and other celebrations.
