No matter what kind of acne you’re afflicted with, it is always good to consult a dermatologist prior to treatment.
A popular acne product on the market these days is Proactive Solution, which can be purchased online or at your local shopping mall. A lot of users of this product say that is highly effective. Suitable jobs for teens

Sunday, August 17th, 2008

One of the most challenging decisions teenagers have to face is finding the right employment. There are a lot of things to consider in the process and getting information can seem to be pretty overwhelming. Following are some ideas that can help motivated people find jobs for teens that really pay off.

The first thing that you want to do is consider your personality. What things really inspire you? Do you love animals? Are you and artists? Maybe you have a way with people. Perhaps you have a passion for fashion. Choosing jobs for teens begins with a little self assessment.

A shy person may not want to delve into a sales position. These jobs for teens can be a little too overwhelming for the quiet types. There are other options that can help you emerge from your shell but you have to make sure that you are in your element.

For example, if you are a shy teenager who has a real love of art, you may want to look to your local museum for work. This job will inspire you to interact with others, especially considering that this subject is near and dear to your heart. Finding jobs for teens in this realm can be challenging but there are some ways to get a head start.

Check with your guidance counselor. This person has a lot of information to offer. You can schedule a meeting at your high school’s guidance office in little time at all. Your counselor may even have the means to get you an interview with your dream organization. All you have to do is ask.

One of the best places to look for jobs for teens is online. This approach certainly beats the local newspaper and I’ll tell you why. Your paper’s classified advertisements feature job openings but there is typically no section dedicated to students looking for work. You can spend a lot of time getting nothing done by sifting through the newspaper classified section.

Your online search will be much more lucrative. This is mostly because there are sites dedicated to jobs for teens rather than careers in general. Teen job sites are just about everywhere on the Internet and you can be on your way to finding the right position in little time at all.

In fact, you may find that there are many jobs for teens available that interest you. All it takes is some planning and some browsing and you can find a great position that you will truly enjoy.

Also check out the importance of job boards, and how they can help you find a suitable job.

Let’s examine each of those types of pimples along with the symptoms.

Whiteheads
the result of completely blocked pore, trapped sebum (oil), bacteria and dead skin cells that eventually turns into a visible Comedo(primary sign of Acne. Whiteheads are normally quicker in life cycle than blackheads, this is the type of acne Vulgaris what called closed comedones. The reason is because the comedones stay below the surface of the skin.

Blackheads
The result of partially blocked pore. The tip has a black color due to the result of a reaction between a melanin (a dark pigment in your skin) with oxygen in the air. Also know as open Comedones.

On some occasion the Comedo can develop into inflammatory lesion (severe form). With the sign of inflammatory lesion as follow swelling, redness, heat and sometimes pain.

Papules
Papules are a small firm red bump with no head, commonly referred as zit.

Pustules
In some sort of way similar to whitehead, contains a bunch of white blood cells. Appears as a red circle with a white and yellow center, also known as “pus pimples”

Nodules
A large acne with lumpy, inflamed, hard-bump under the skin’s surface, quite painful and can last for months often followed with scarring.

Cysts
Similar with nodule and the term is often used interchangeably with “nodule” because of the similar characteristics between both.

Macule
After acne lesion has been healed, there is a flat red, purple spot in the place where papule used to be.

·         Wash your pillowcase often and always use clean face towels.

·         Be sure to pull your hair away from your skin when you sleep.

·         Exercising regularly can help reduce stress and it increases blood circulation and oxygen penetration to the skin, which may help to prevent acne.

Major Reasons for infecting Acne:

·         Acne is generally caused by clogged pores that attract dirt and grime and eventually suffocate the skin

Tips To Get Rid Of Acne

Wednesday, June 4th, 2008

Caring for acne prone skin is a challenge for anyone but it can be done, and may be easier than you think. The steps are very logical.

  1. Good hygiene is the key, but be careful not to overdo the washing. Wash your face and other affected areas once or twice a day. Don’t over do it because too much washing, or too vigorous a wash can actually cause damage to the skin, and make acne worse.
  2. make sure that you are eating right, and getting proper nutrition, The body needs nutrition to have a healthy immune system and fight off infections, and acne produces small infections. For this reason, eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains and lean meat
  3. If you are a man, be careful shaving. Shave around blemishes, even if you are leaving a little patch of beard. That is certainly better than walking around with bandages on your sore face.
If you are a woman, remember that makeup causing acne is a myth, but clogging pores is not, so use a makeup that does not clog pores, and if possible one that contains a medication that kills bacteria and will help cut back on acne.
  4. Unplugging the pores will stop the spread of acne no matter what our skin type.

Proven Acne Scar Treatment

Saturday, June 17th, 2006

I have suffered from very severe acne ever since I was born…well, more like ever since I could remember my face has been filled with acne. I have been called all kids of names, but none more piercing that ‘crater face.’ My appearance had plenty of acne scars, but it wasn’t the acne that hurt the most, it was the emotional scars that were hard to heal.

If you’ve ever suffered from acne, then you already know what a debilitating affliction it is. I have had to deal with bad skin ever since I was a teenager, so I am very familiar with the shame and embarrassment that comes from having a face covered in pimples. One unique characteristic about this skin problem is the fact that sometimes it doesn’t clear up completely, and in extreme cases, can even lead to scarring.

The Agony Of Adult Acne

Most adults, who survived their teenage years with no apparent acne and the lack of ‘bad skin’ that their peers struggled with are often embarrassed to discover that just when they assumed they were free from acne for ever, they have been afflicted by adult acne.

Fast Facts About Acne - Myths to Uncover!

Tuesday, June 13th, 2006

Let’s take a look at some other popular beliefs about acne to dispel any other rumors; for example, stress. Is it true that increased stress spreads acne? Not exactly. What is true is that ultimately stress can have a very minimal or minor influence all by itself.

It cannot actually cause acne, but it can influence reoccurrences of acne as stress increases the body’s creation of a substance called cortisol that in turn causes your sebaceous glands to produce increased amounts of sebum oil that can be blocked in pores. Note, however, that some medications people take when trying to deal with or treat stress can have a large influence on acne as the result of…

Acne Forum Guide

Tuesday, June 13th, 2006

The adventure left me with mixed results. On the one hand, there was an impressive growth in the amount of information available in the acne forum to give even a casual reader all the hard facts about acne. For instance, one of the acne forums I visited busted some of the acne myths that we all grew up with. This particular forum for instance once and for all set to rest the age old belief that acne was a result of poor facial hygiene. The acne forum did not do so through didactic arguments. Instead, the acne forum was characterized by relevant scientific facts, clear explanations and a lot of concrete, real life examples.

So my acne prevention and treatment routine is a benzyl peroxide acne face wash, and a salicylic acid acne body wash. So long as I use these washes daily, I’m able to reduce the acne I would be getting by somewhere around 90%, which is great. However, there is still that 10% or so that gets by, and I can’t really seem to do much about it. The acne on my back is especially hard to prevent; no acne body wash gets rid of it completely.

Acne Blemish Treatment

Here’s all about Acne Blemish Treatment

Along with an acne blemish treatment, there are a few guidelines you can follow for caring for your skin. Never squeeze blemishes. Squeezing can force bacteria deeper into the pore, making the blemish worse and possibly causing scarring. Use a gentle cleanser to clean your skin, but don’t overdo it. Washing your face any more than twice a day is too much and can dry and irritate your skin, possibly worsening the acne. Also, avoid touching your face, which can introduce bacteria onto your skin.
