Concerns About The Raw Food

Monday, June 12th, 2006

While a raw diet is high in many nutrients, as well as fiber, and tends to be low in fat, it can be difficult to eat the required amounts of other nutrients.  A raw food diet can require a lot of work and research in order for the raw foodist to ensure that they are receiving all the recommended amounts of vitamins and minerals, and not all people are able to do this research.  While in the short term, this can be harmless, a diet missing important nutrients can be harmful to health.  In a raw food diet, careful attention should be paid to getting enough protein and the right variety of protein, as well as certain vitamins that people normally intake in meat and dairy products.

Burr Coffee Grinder - Cafe Style Coffee Made At Home!

Wednesday, June 7th, 2006

A burr coffee grinder is superior to the bladed kind in a number of important ways. For one thing, a burr coffee grinder has the ability to produce a variety of grinds, from coarse to very fine. This is ideal for me because it gives me greater flexibility in my brewing method. If I want to use a percolator, I leave the setting at coarse. For a drip machine, I change it to a medium grind. Plus, I can easily indulge in a cup of espresso every now and again without having to go to any extra effort. I simply set my burr coffee grinder to the finest setting and leave it at that.

Remember those times when your family or clique would call it a camp out and instead of cooking from the home, they actually bring the needed ingredients and materials to the outdoors and cook the meal there.
