Classical Music On The Acoustic Guitar Is Lovely
Have you ever thought about playing classical music on your guitar? There are many popular types of music – Spanish classical guitar music is one of my favorite varieties. But you can also play traditional Beethoven or Mozart tunes on the guitar – just don’t expect it to sound exactly the same as it does when you’re listening to the orchestra.
To my mind, classical guitar sounds best on the acoustic guitar. It’s the type of guitar that would have been in use for the last several hundreds of years (or at least closer to those variants) and it has a traditional sound to it that I think the electric guitar specifically tries to avoid.
Of course there is always room for musical creativity, but sometimes it’s best to stick with the classics.
