Support Your Children Helping Others

June 24th, 2008

Children helping other children is often very touching as well. It doesn’t have to be anything big, but parents should commend them when they catch them doing so. This might be them taking some time to help another child who may have fallen behind or fallen down, or perhaps helping them with a chore. On the other end of the spectrum, you may see children helping others in a way that you think would only be open to adults. They may want to give their things to the poor, or volunteer time where it could be used the most. They may even help others indirectly by picking up trash, encouraging their teacher to recycle in the classroom, or perhaps by pestering someone to adopt a pet rather than buying one.
