Spice Rack
July 25th, 2008I realized that she was right. The first thing I did was to set up a good spice rack. You see, I had spices everywhere. I discovered about a year ago that spices were the key to good cooking, and since then I have been growing my own spices and accumulating more exotic ones from the local gourmet food store. Practically every day, I fill a new spice jar with freshly dried herbs from my garden, so you can imagine that I accumulate a lot of ingredients! The problem is that it always takes me a long time to find them. I have a spice rack, but it is one of those pullout varieties. It is a pretty poorly designed spice cabinet. Basically, it is a drawer filled with small bottles. I knew that there was a better way.
