Finding the Best Rock Climbing Equipment

I learned the sport in Boulder, and quickly became hooked on the adrenaline rush, physical challenge, and the amazing views I was treated to when I reached my destination. Rock climbing equipment was important, since high quality gear made climbs both safer and more enjoyable. There were a lot of supplies available, but I quickly learned that each piece had its own purpose and I began collecting more gear as I gained experience and expertise.A rope is a key piece of rock climbing equipment for safety, and usually consists of braided nylon fibers enclosed in a nylon sheath. These ropes are just a tad stretchy, to safely catch falling climbers. Yes, climbers slip on occasion, but the gear is designed to keep them safe from those mishaps! I use my rope more than anything else in my gear bag, so I’m glad I bought a quality one the first time through.
