Camping In Michigan
May 20th, 2008It seems that there is never enough time in a day week month or year to get everything done that needs to get done. Our lives are so filled with things that we are responsible for that at times it seems that time off is all most impossible to get. It is very important to take time off from busy schedules to energize yourself. Giving up time off seems like a good way to get caught up with things that need to be done at work or home, but if this means you run out of energy and your attitude suffers, then this does not help anyone.
Getting away can be as relaxing or complicated as you want to make it. I like to keep at least three vacation days each year that I use to get away on my own. My favorite thing to do is to go camping in Michigan. I think I find this so rewarding because it is something my family did as I was growing up. There are many different locations for camping in Michigan. My family usually chose to go to the Upper Peninsula area. We liked to see the large boats on the lake and there are always lots of rivers and streams to fish in. My father taught me how to fly fish on these streams.
