A Brief Guide to Wedding Ceremony Protocol
November 14th, 2008If you are planning a traditional wedding, there is some wedding ceremony protocol you should know about. The first part of proper protocol is understanding the processional order. First, the officiant, groom and best man will take their places at the altar. After that, the groomsmen will enter. Sometimes, depending on your preferences, they will be accompanied by a the bridesmaids. Or, the bridesmaids will make a separate entrance. After the groomsmen make their entrance the bridesmaids will walk down the aisle if they did not already do so.
