A menace that can be treated fast and painless: Facial Warts

October 31st, 2007

Unarguable warts come from viral infections caused by HPV - the human version of Papilloma Virus and facial warts are no different. The word “virus” itself sounds really troubling, but this more or less is a negative consequence of being bombarded with the “aids” epidemic for last decades. Facial warts are nothing near to AIDS in terms of hospitalization or treatment. The virus itself, HPV, is regarded as bothersome but not life threatening. The pain caused by the HPV is predominantly the pain of having to expose your infection in the public. Having facial warts is a sociological issue more than a medical challenge.

Medicine has long discovered efficient ways to get rid of facial warts. And none of the methods include anesthesia or scalpels, the two main factors of fear by so many patients. There is a good chance you will not even have to leave your doorstep and the warts will be cured successfully by cheap over the counter medications. Rarely will facial warts cause a serious medical picture that will have to be treated surgically. Well over 50% of people affected will get rid of warts within few days; some will disappear even without any treatment at all. All in all, today’s facial warts treatments are being done without patient having to experience any kind of pain or discomfort.
