One of my favorite kinds of Native American jewelry is their use of turquoise. That deep greenish/sky blue color is a favorite for a lot of women, and the stone is very commonly used in Native American jewelry.
Handmade and carefully designed, their jewelry reflects a pride in what they do above and beyond just stamping out run of the mill shiny or sparkly items you see in typical jewelry stores.
