Out of a population of over 300 million people (97% of whom are literate by the way), less than 149 million people have access to the internet. And considering that most of these could be network resources or even dial-up resources, the amount of time the average American spends online (uninterrupted and undisturbed) is less than a couple of hours per day. If this is the case with the world’s argest economy, you can well imagine the plight of several lesser-developed nations.
