Can You Really Meet People Online?
June 16th, 2006Have you ever actually tried to meet people online that shared your interests or hobbies? We all read about it often enough in the news, but I notice that my generation seem to have just missed this cyberspace era of online chatting and such.
The whole concept of meeting people online didn’t appear until I’d left school. It was starting to get noticed when I was in college, but now when I look at my daughter and how she uses the Internet, I’m amazed at how it’s considered such a normal way of meeting others. Her and her friends constantly chat online and websites such as Myspace.com have made it really easy to meet people online. That’s one of the things you’ve got to love about cyberspace.
